Meghalaya Police has taken swift action in the murder case of Indore’s Raja Raghuvanshi and arrested four people including his wife Sonam. This murder took place during the honeymoon and investigation has revealed that the wife’s role in it is under suspicion.

Meghalaya Police has taken major action within seven days in the famous Raja Raghuvanshi murder case of Indore and arrested four people including the king’s wife Sonam. In this sensational case, it is alleged that Sonam had called hired killers to kill her husband. This murder was committed during the honeymoon in Meghalaya.

Giving information about the case, Meghalaya DGP I Nongraang said that four people including his wife have been arrested in the case of murder of a man from Indore. At the same time, now Sonam’s father Devi Singh’s statement has also come to light in this case, in which he has made serious allegations against Shillong Police, calling his daughter innocent.

‘Sonam was found, but the son was lost’

Sonam Raghuvanshi’s father Devi Singh said, “The marriage took place with the consent of both the families. The Meghalaya government has been lying from the beginning. My daughter came to a dhaba in Ghazipur last night and called her brother. Then the police reached there and took her from the dhaba. I have not been able to talk to my daughter till now. Why would my daughter kill her husband? The Meghalaya police is lying. I appeal to Home Minister Amit Shah to get this case investigated by the CBI. My daughter is completely innocent.”

Sonam’s father accused the Shillong police of making false allegations and said, “We have raised this issue a lot in the media, so now the police want to implicate our daughter. They are lying.”

Our children were not brought up in such a way’

He refuted the allegations against his daughter and said, “Our children were not brought up in such a way that they would get someone killed. My daughter is 25 years old, she is not 2 or 10 years old.” At present, the police investigation is going on in this case and all the four accused are being questioned. The real reason and conspiracy behind the murder will be revealed only after the police investigation.
