Pankaja Munde: Pankaja Munde said in a program in Nashik last Sunday that if we bring together the people who love Munde Saheb, then a different side will emerge. Such is the power of the people who love Munde Saheb
The statement given by Maharashtra government’s environment minister and late BJP leader Gopinath Munde’s daughter Pankaja Munde in a program has raised the temperature of the state’s politics. In a program organized in Nashik, Pankaja Munde said that the number of Gopinath Munde’s followers is so high that they can form their own political party.
According to media reports, Pankaja Munde said in a program in Nashik last Sunday February 10, 2025 that if we bring together the people who love Munde Saheb, then a different party will emerge. Such a great power is of the people who love Munde Saheb. Only the people who love Munde Saheb kept joining me, which would not have happened just because I am his daughter.
Pankaja Munde further said that people accept the qualities that are inherited. People love the qualities of Munde Saheb. Therefore, a party of those who love him can be formed. Munde sahab has worked for BJP since its birth and built it. However, at the end of the statement, she clarified that she was talking about BJP.
The minister said that when she was allotted the environment portfolio, she was confused, wondering what she could do as a mass leader for the people who came to her seeking solutions. “I realised the importance of the ministry and now I have decided to do the best for a green state. I will ensure that it is followed to the fullest. We will try to undo all the bad things done to nature and rivers,” Pankaja said.
Ban on giving bouquets
The environment minister said that as far as her ministry is concerned, officials will no longer give bouquets to welcome people at government functions. “Today at an event, I was welcomed with seeds that can germinate even if thrown away,” Munde said. I will take this idea forward and ask all my officers to give seeds instead of bouquets.
