IPS RN Das on deputation to CRPF for five years, will take over the responsibility of DIG
Raipur: Chhattisgarh’s 2006 batch IPS officer Rajendra Narayan Das has been appointed by the Central Government to the post of DIG in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). His appointment tenure will be a deputation of five years. The Under Secretary of the Central Government has requested Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain to relieve IPS Das with immediate effect, so that he can take up his new responsibility.
Introduction of Rajendra Kumar Das
IPS Rajendra Narayan Das, a native of Odisha, entered the Indian Police Service after clearing the UPSC exam after doing his MPhil. His tenure in the Chhattisgarh cadre has been commendable so far.
Let us tell you that Rajendra Narayan Das joined the IPS service on 29 July 2006. In Chhattisgarh, he was the SP of Kanker, Jagdalpur and Janjgir Champa districts. While posted in the Naxal area, Rajendra Das did a great job on the Naxal front. Rajendra Narayan Das was also a soldier of the Seventh Vahini Chhattisgarh Armed Force. He was posted at the Police Headquarters on the grace of AIG Administration. The responsibility of police constable recruitment and selection was also given to Rajendra Narayan Das.
