BJP brainstorms on Maharashtra CM, Shah discussed with Modi and Nadda before NDA meeting

New Delhi : Even after five days of the election results in Maharashtra, the CM has not been announced. The Mahayuti is continuously holding meetings and discussions regarding the CM. After the press conference of Maharashtra’s acting CM Eknath Shinde, there has been a stir in the BJP. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has met PM Modi and JP Nadda. On Wednesday November 27, 2024 after the press conference of Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde, a meeting was held between Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde.

According to the information, a long discussion took place between the two in the meeting which lasted till about half an hour regarding the political developments in Maharashtra and the exercise of forming a new government. In which the political and social equations that will affect Maharashtra if Eknath Shinde is not the Chief Minister were discussed.

Besides , the BJP high command is also considering the impact on the Maratha voters of Maharashtra. Amit Shah is taking feedback from the leaders of Maharashtra before the meeting with the three leaders of the Mahayuti today. Before the meeting with Vinod Tawde, he has spoken to different leaders of Shiv Sena and NCP and taken their feedback.

Eknath Shinde will not become Deputy Chief Minister – Shiv Sena
After Eknath Shinde’s announcement, a statement of a Shiv Sena leader has come to the fore. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Shirsat has said that Shinde may not want to become Deputy Chief Minister. It is not appropriate for a person holding the post of Chief Minister to do so. He said that Shiv Sena will ask some other leader to become Deputy Chief Minister. Shiv Sena spokesperson and MLA Sanjay Shirsat said that Shinde may not join the cabinet.

BJP’s tension increased, a new face may be announced!

After a poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP’s bumper victory in the assembly elections has given relief but the tension regarding the announcement of the CM has also increased. On one hand, Devendra Fadnavis’ name is leading for CM in Maharashtra. Due to the delay in the decision, it is also being speculated that like MP, CG and Rajasthan, BJP may announce a new face in Maharashtra this time.
