Yogi cabinet big decisions: In the UP cabinet meeting held on Thursday July 3, 2025 , the cabinet approved many important decisions, which also includes giving one lakh jobs to the youth every year.

Lucknow : The state government approved the proposal to form ‘Uttar Pradesh Employment Mission’ in the cabinet meeting on Thursday July 3, 2025 . The objective of this mission is to provide employment to the youth of the state not only in the country through the state government, but also to provide them job opportunities abroad. After the formation of the mission, every year one lakh youth will be provided employment in the country and 30 thousand abroad. After the cabinet meeting, Labor Minister Anil Rajbhar said that till now the Employment Department was providing opportunities to the unemployed youth of the state only through employment fairs and employers. Now with the formation of Uttar Pradesh Employment Mission, we will be able to provide direct jobs to our youth at both the national and international levels.

Anil Rajbhar said that till now the state had to depend on Recruiting Agent (RA) licensed agencies for employment abroad. With the formation of the mission, the government will be able to obtain the license of RA itself, so that the unemployed can be sent directly abroad for employment. The demand for Uttar Pradesh’s manpower, especially para medical, nursing staff, drivers, skilled workers, is increasing rapidly at the global level. This mission will be a medium to give direction and opportunity to that potential of the state.

Five major units will run the mission

Uttar Pradesh Rozgar Mission is being formed as a high level institution, which will be registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860. Five major units will be formed for its operation. Which will have Governing Council, State Steering Committee, State Executive Committee, State Program Management Unit (SPMU) and District Executive Committee.

New link expressway to connect Agra-Lucknow Expressway and Eastern Expressway
The cabinet has approved a new link expressway to connect Eastern Expressway to Agra-Lucknow Expressway. This six-lane expressway, about 50 km (49.96 km) long, can be made eight lanes later. An estimated cost of Rs. 4776 crore is decided to be spent on its construction. This decision of the Council of Ministers is an important step towards developing a grid of expressways in the state.

Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi said that the new link expressway will start from Bhalia village (Chainage 294 + 230) of Agra Lucknow Expressway, which will go up to Pahansa village (Chainage 6 + 350) of Purvanchal Expressway. As soon as Agra Lucknow Expressway and Purvanchal Expressway are connected through the new link expressway, Lucknow- Prayagraj National Highway and Lucknow-Kanpur Highway will also be connected. This will make the movement of Agra, Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi and Ghazipur smooth. Cities like Lucknow and Kanpur will get relief from problems like jam and no entry.

Relief to the trader from the heavy burden of appeal
The cabinet approved the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance. With this, many amendments made by the Center in GST were also implemented in UP. Under this, the trader was earlier required to deposit 25 percent of the amount to appeal. It has been reduced to 10 percent.

In this regard, State Tax Commissioner Dr. Nitin Bansal said that amendments are proposed in the GST Act from time to time by the GST Council to simplify the GST system and provide convenience to the taxpayers. In the sequence of these amendments passed by the Central Government, amendments are also made by the State Government in the UP Goods and Services Tax Act. In the sequence of amendments made in the UP Goods and Services Tax Act by the Finance Act 2025, the UP Goods and Services Tax Act has been amended.

Women will also be able to work in all factories of dangerous category
Taking a big step towards women empowerment, women have been allowed to work in all 29 factories of dangerous category with some conditions. Labor Minister Anil Rajbhar said that till now women were prohibited from working in 29 types of dangerous factories in the country. In December last year, work was already allowed in 12 types of less dangerous factories. In the latest decision, the cabinet approved the proposal to allow them to work in all the factories.

Land given on 99-year lease for NSG hub in Ayodhya
The cabinet has approved the proposal to allot and transfer 8 acres of land free of cost in favor of the Ministry of Home Affairs on a 99-year lease for the establishment of NSG hub in view of the security arrangements of Ayodhya and nearby sensitive establishments. For the establishment of NSG hub in Ayodhya, land of Cantonment Gaura Barik ‘Cantonment Area Ayodhya’ Pargana Haveli Awadh, Tehsil Sadar has been given. In this regard, a request was made by the DM of Ayodhya, after which the Finance Department has relaxed the provisions after taking the opinion of the Home Department. However, this transfer will be an exception. It will not be considered a precedent in future.


Investment proposal of 21,500 crores approved, 19 thousand crores for solar energy


In the cabinet meeting, an investment proposal of 21 thousand 252 crores was approved in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Farrukhabad, Shahjahanpur, Noida and Hathras. Letter of Comfort will be issued to all the companies soon. Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi said that in the cabinet meeting itself, it was decided to give front and land subsidy of 252.92 crores as incentive amount to Avaada Electro Private Limited on the allotment of 202350 square meter plot in Greater Noida. Principal Secretary MSME, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Alok Kumar said that with this, UP will become a big stronghold of investment in solar energy because more than 19 thousand crores have been invested in the solar energy sector.
