Operation Sindoor: ‘I became emotional after hearing the name of the mission Sindoor’, the pain of the victims spilled out after the revenge of the Pahalgam attack
In retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Army targeted terror camps in Pakistan. Of the nine targets, four are in Pakistan and five in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The targets in Pakistan include Bahawalpur, Muridke and Sialkot. Special precision weapons were used to target the terror camps. The three armies jointly carried out the operation.
During the strike by Indian armed forces on terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK, the sky turned red due to the explosions. After this, when the redness of the sky vanished, the sound of fighter jets could be heard again amidst the flickering lights in the darkness. Eyewitnesses said that several explosions took place one after the other at short intervals. This sequence continued for more than 40 minutes. The sound stopped for a few minutes and then fighter planes kept hovering. Meanwhile, statements of the families of the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack also started coming. They welcomed ‘Operation Sindoor’. They saluted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces.
N. Ramachandran’s daughter Aarti’s pain spilled out
The pain of Aarti, daughter of N. Ramachandran, who was killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, was somewhat reduced by the Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor on Wednesday. Nothing can compensate for the loss suffered by them, but now they are satisfied that the culprits have been given strict punishment. She hoped that this would provide some relief to the families of those killed in front of her. She saluted the Prime Minister, the Indian Army and the government for the missile strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.
‘All the victim families including Himanshi Narwal would have got some relief’
Aarti’s father was killed by terrorists in front of her on April 22 while holidaying in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Aarti also said that there could not have been a better name than ‘Operation Sindoor’ for the mission. There could not have been a better answer to terrorism, which killed our fathers, brothers or husbands in front of us. She said that all Indians would have got relief from this operation. Operation Sindoor would have provided some relief and comfort to the families of all the victims including Himanshi Narwal. Himanshi’s husband was also one of those killed in the terrorist attack and her picture sitting near her husband’s body became a horrific reminder of this deadly incident.

‘Losing husband and father did not go in vain’
Asavari Jagdale, daughter of deceased Santosh Jagdale, praised the efforts of the government and the Indian Army to avenge the lives of innocent people in this horrific terrorist attack. Asavari said that many people have lost their husbands and fathers, but it did not go in vain. India has paid true tribute and given justice to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack by launching Operation Sindoor.
…That’s why it was named ‘Operation Sindoor’
Jagdale said, ‘We received calls from our relatives (about Operation Sindoor). India has avenged the Pahalgam attack through these air strikes. I became very emotional after hearing the name of the mission (Sindoor). When Amit Shah came to Srinagar to pay tribute to the dead, the sisters who lost their husbands were pleading. I think that is why the operation has been named like this.’
Victim’s mother said – I have faith in PM Modi
Victim Manjunath Rao’s mother Sumati welcomed the military action and said that she has faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She does not want her son’s sacrifice to go in vain. It is not a feeling of satisfaction, because her son will not come back, but such things should not happen to the children of others. Sumati told PTI, ‘We had faith that Modi will take the right decision and he took the decision accordingly. Nothing should happen to the innocent, but those who try to commit atrocities against us should not be spared. My son’s sacrifice should not go in vain. I think the right decision has been taken.
