The encounter between security forces and Naxalites is going on near the hill of Karregutta situated on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. This operation is being carried out continuously for the last 15 days. The security forces have got this big success on the 16th day.

For the last two weeks, a large-scale anti-Naxal operation has been carried out by the security forces in the vast and inaccessible hills of Karregutta in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. Under this operation, a major encounter took place late on Tuesday night, in which the security forces have killed more than 18 Naxalites. The number of Naxalites killed may increase. Weapons and explosives have been recovered from the killed Naxalites.

This operation is being carried out continuously for the last 15 days. In which many Naxalites have been killed. The search operation is being described as challenging in view of the geographical location of the Karregutta area, but the security forces are conducting search and patrolling operations.

If sources are to be believed, intelligence information was received about the presence of some top Naxalite leaders and battalion number one in this area. On the basis of which the operation was intensified. It is expected that the number of Naxalites killed may increase further, as the action of the security forces is going on at many other hideouts as well.

However, there has been no official confirmation from the local police about this encounter yet. The Karregutta hilly area has been known for Naxalite activities in the past as well. In such a situation, this action of the security forces is being considered a major success in weakening the Naxalite network in this entire area.

India took revenge from Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack

Meanwhile, India took revenge for the sindoor that was wiped off from the foreheads of Indian women by Pakistani mercenaries 15 days ago in Pahalgam. On the intervening night of 6 and 7 May, the country’s armed forces attacked terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Through these attacks with deadly drones and missiles, terrorist infrastructure was destroyed at nine places. The nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan that India attacked in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack include the areas of Bahawalpur, Muridke, Chak Amru, Sialkot, Bhimber, Gulpur, Kotli, Bagh and Muzaffarabad.

The answer to Pahalgam is ‘Operation Sindoor’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi chose the name ‘Operation Sindoor’ for the action of the Indian armed forces on nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Official sources said on Wednesday that after the terrorists killed 26 civilians, the pictures of the wives of many of the victims had shocked the entire country. Therefore, the name ‘Operation Sindoor’ was considered most appropriate for the retaliatory action.
