Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai On Saturday April 12, 2025 attended the ceremony of taking charge and felicitation of Anurag Singhdev, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Housing Board. He congratulated and wished Singhdev on getting the new responsibility. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth about Rs 670 crore of Chhattisgarh Housing Board. He also provided compassionate appointment certificates to 8 people.

CM Sai wished everyone a Happy Hanuman Jayanti in the program. He said that everyone wishes to have a roof over their head. Our illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi wants everyone to have a permanent house, that is why Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Along with this scheme, houses are being built for the needy people by Chhattisgarh Housing Board. Herculean efforts are being made to provide housing to everyone. Chief Minister Sai also said that the state government is committed to giving the poor their rights. On the second day of taking oath, we approved 18 lakh houses in the cabinet meeting. In our tenure of last 14 months, the condition of the Housing Board improved, the board has stood on its feet. During this period, we have also received 14 lakh houses from the Center. Union Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is going to give three and a half lakh more houses to Chhattisgarh soon, CM added .

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, while addressing the program, said that Anurag has been known for working in adverse circumstances for a long time. Certainly, Chhattisgarh Housing Board will benefit from his experiences. On this occasion, he congratulated and wished the newly appointed Housing Board Chairman Anurag Singhdev.

Cabinet Minister Ramvichar Netam said that our government is working for the betterment of villages, poor, farmers and laborers by making new schemes every day. He congratulated the newly elected Chairman of Chhattoisgarh Housing Board Anurag Singhdev for doing better work with the aim of fulfilling the dream of a house at easy and affordable rates for the general public through the Housing Board.

Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary said that as soon as our government was formed, a target was set to prepare houses for the poor people at affordable prices. We have decided to rebuild about 40 incomplete schemes in the entire state. We have also worked to give discounts to the beneficiaries in the name of ‘One Time Settlement’ for the sale of old properties.

On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Devendra Pratap Singh, Rajnandgaon MP Santosh Pandey, MLA Motilal Sahu, Purandar Mishra, Chairman of various Board Commissions, Chhattisgarh Housing Board Commissioner Kundan Kumar, a large number of dignitaries and officers and employees of Chhattisgarh Housing Board were present.
