Raipur,: The Chhattisgarh government’s Public Relations Department has carried out a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring 22 officials and employees across the Directorate of Public Relations and various District Public Relations Offices in the state.

The transfer order, issued on Wednesday, August 19, states that the new postings will take effect immediately on a temporary basis and remain in force until further orders.

The reshuffle covers officials at different levels of the department, including Joint Directors, Deputy Directors, Assistant Directors, Assistant Public Relations Officers and Assistant Information Officers, besides other personnel.

Dr Ushakiran Baraik has been transferred from the District Public Relations Office (DPRO), Rajnandgaon, to the Directorate of Public Relations in Nava Raipur. Deputy Director Chandrashekhar Kashyap, presently posted at the DPRO in Jagdalpur, has also been moved to the Directorate.

Deputy Director Laxmikant Kosariya has been shifted in the opposite direction, from the Directorate in Nava Raipur to the District Public Relations Office, Raipur. Deputy Director Shruti Thakur has been transferred from Raipur to the Directorate, while Deputy Director Rahul Son has been moved from Kawardha to the Directorate in Nava Raipur.

District PR Offices See Wide-Ranging Changes

Among Assistant Directors, Chandresh Thakur has been transferred from Balod to Kabirdham, while Sujit Singh has been moved from Mungeli to Raigarh. Pradeep Singh has been transferred from Surajpur to Balrampur-Ramanujganj and Tarashankar Sinha from Kanker to the Directorate of Public Relations, Nava Raipur. Gulab Dadsena has been shifted from Raigarh to Sarangarh-Bilaigarh.

Assistant Public Relations Officer Bisekumar Rathe has been transferred from Jashpur to Gariaband, while Rahul has been moved from Bemetara to Jashpur.

Ashok Chandravanshi has been transferred from the Directorate of Public Relations to Balod, while Nikhilesh Dewangan has been moved from Kabirdham to Rajnandgaon. Devika Meravi has been transferred from Balrampur-Ramanujganj to Surajpur.

Devendra Yadav has been shifted from Sarangarh-Bilaigarh to Mahasamund, while Vishal Kumar Jaiswal has been transferred from Surajpur to Sarguja.

Ganesh Ram Baghel has been moved from Dhamtari to Dantewada and Satyaprakash Nag from Dantewada to Mahasamund. Ramnarayan Gadhewal has been transferred from Mahasamund to Raipur.

Sumit Chaubey, presently at the Directorate of Public Relations in Nava Raipur, has been posted to the District Public Relations Office, Dhamtari, while Ankur Tikki has been transferred from Balrampur-Ramanujganj to Sarguja.

The reshuffle involves both the state-level Directorate and a wide network of district offices, making it one of the broader personnel movements within the Public Relations Department in recent months. The transferred officials have been directed to assume their new responsibilities in accordance with the August 19 order.
