Maharashtra Govt Formation BJP Meeting Today News Live: Even after 10 days of a landslide victory in the Maharashtra assembly elections, the Mahayuti alliance is still entangled in the process of forming a government. The Mahayuti includes BJP, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party. This alliance has won 230 seats in the 288-member assembly. In this, BJP got 132 seats, Shiv Sena got 57 and NCP got 41 seats.

Shinde had gone to his native village in Satara district on Friday. He developed high fever in the village. There was speculation that Shinde is not happy with the formation of the new government. Talking to reporters in his village on Sunday before leaving for Mumbai, Shinde said that I have already said that the decision taken by the BJP leadership on the post of Chief Minister will be acceptable to me and Shiv Sena and it will have my full support.

On speculations of Shinde’s son Srikant Shinde being given the post of Deputy Chief Minister and the Home Department to Shiv Sena, Eknath Shinde said that the three allies of the Mahayuti, Shiv Sena, BJP and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will decide on this by consensus.

Meanwhile, political sources have claimed that the meeting of the BJP Legislature Party will now be held tomorrow i.e. on December 3. Two observers will be sent to Mumbai from Delhi. There will be a detailed discussion with the MLAs. After this, the leader of the legislative party will be elected. Earlier on Saturday, after returning from Satara, Eknath Shinde had said that there is no difference of opinion in the Mahayuti. Whatever decision Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah take on the Chief Minister, I will accept it. I have no ambition to become CM. At the same time, BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule had announced on Saturday that the swearing-in of the new government of Maharashtra will be held on December 5 at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. Prime Minister Modi can also attend the program.

Acting Chief Minister Eknath Shinde told why people want to see him become the Chief Minister again. In fact, when he was asked that some sections of the state are demanding to make him the Chief Minister again, he replied to this question, ‘I was the Chief Minister of the people. In fact, I always used to say that I am not just the Chief Minister, but a common man. As a common man, I understood the problems and pain of the people and tried to solve them. I worked as a common man, so obviously people feel that I should become the Chief Minister.’
