Amid the Iran-Israel ceasefire, US President Donald Trump on Tuesday June 24, 2025 said that both Iran and Israel violated the ceasefire. He also warned Israel and strictly told them to call back their pilots and not drop bombs in Iran.

Trump said sternly, “Israel, don’t drop those bombs. If you do, it’s a major violation. Call your pilots back home immediately.” Trump said, “I didn’t like that Israel attacked immediately after agreeing to a ceasefire.” Trump’s statement came at a time when Israel had earlier alleged that Iran violated the ceasefire, but Iran rejected these allegations. US President Trump said that Iran would never restart its nuclear program. He said that he is not happy with Iran, but is very unhappy with Israel.

Qatar’s important role in Israel-Iran ceasefire

Iran says that it fired the last missile when the city of Beer Sheva was attacked and this was an incident before the ceasefire was announced. The Iranian side called it a self-defense move and denied violating the terms of the ceasefire. Qatar’s role was also important in this entire incident. According to the report, US President Trump spoke to the Emir of Qatar over the phone and requested him to persuade Iran to accept the US-backed ceasefire proposal. After this call, the Prime Minister of Qatar took the initiative and persuaded Iran to agree to this proposal.

An American official told the media, “The Emir of Qatar got Iran to agree to the US-backed ceasefire proposal. This initiative was taken after talks between Trump and the Emir of Qatar.” This makes it clear that Qatar played an important mediator role in establishing peace in the region. There were rapid attacks in Israel-Iran

This ceasefire happened at a time when there were intense attacks between Iran and Israel for the last few days, in which both sides targeted each other’s military and strategic bases. Tensions had increased even more after the recent bombing attacks by America. Now, when the ceasefire has come into effect, the controversy over it is equally intense. Trump’s statement has sparked a new debate at the international level regarding Israel’s military action.
