In Maha Kumbh, a family found their family member who was lost 27 years ago. However, that person is now 65 years old and has taken the form of an Aghori.
You must have often heard people joking with each other. ‘Hey, did you get lost in the Kumbh Mela?’ A similar story has come to light from Jharkhand. A family from Jharkhand has claimed to have found their lost member after 27 years in the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj.
Went missing in 1998
The family says that Gangasagar Yadav, who went missing in 1998, has now become an ‘Aghori’ sadhu, whom people know as Baba Rajkumar. He is 65 years old. Gangasagar suddenly went missing after going to Patna in 1998 and no news of him was found. His wife Dhanwa Devi alone raised their two sons, Kamlesh and Vimlesh.
Gangasagar’s younger brother Murali Yadav said, ‘We had given up hope of finding our brother, but recently one of our relatives saw a sadhu in the Kumbh Mela, who looked like Gangasagar. He took his picture and sent it to us. After seeing the picture, we immediately reached Kumbh Mela with Dhanva Devi and her two sons.’
Baba Rajkumar denied the claim
The family claims that they recognized Gangasagar Yadav as Baba Rajkumar, but the sadhu completely denied his old identity. They recognized Gangasagar Yadav as Baba Rajkumar, but the sadhu completely denied his old identity. Baba Rajkumar said that he is a sadhu from Varanasi and that he has no connection with Gangasagar. A sadhvi present with him also supported this.
The family claimed after seeing the marks
However, the family claimed that he is Gangasagar based on some special identification marks present on his body. They showed his long teeth, injury marks on the forehead and an old wound on the knee and said that this is the same person. The family has sought help from the Kumbh Mela police in this matter and has demanded a DNA test, so that the real identity of the person can be proved.
Talking about getting a DNA test done
Brother Murali Yadav said, ‘We will wait till the Kumbh Mela ends. If needed, we will get a DNA test done and bring out the truth. If our claim is proved wrong in the test, we will apologize to Baba Rajkumar.’ Currently, some members of the family have returned home, but some are still present in the Kumbh Mela and are keeping an eye on Baba Rajkumar.
After Gangasagar’s disappearance, his family was devastated. His elder son was only two years old at that time. Now it remains to be seen whether the DNA test will reveal the truth or this family has really become a victim of some misunderstanding.
