Israel-Iran Conflict: The tense situation in the Middle East has further escalated with the sudden return of US President Donald Trump to the US. Trump has taken a tough stand on Iran’s nuclear program, while Israel has killed at least 10 nuclear scientists by attacking important sites including Iran’s Natanz nuclear plant.
The signals coming from US President Donald Trump have increased the tension in the Middle East. President Trump has left the G7 meeting in Canada midway and has returned to the US. Although Trump has not openly stated the reasons for returning to the US immediately, he has directly attacked Iran’s nuclear intentions.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army has also said that at least 10 Iranian nuclear scientists have been killed in its attacks. However, the Israeli army said that it does not want to cause a nuclear disaster with its attacks.
Which targets were attacked?
Iran’s Natanz nuclear sites have been attacked by Israel. This is Iran’s largest nuclear plant. 2 buildings have been destroyed in the Israeli attack there. Power supply and backup have been destroyed. Nuclear monitoring agency IAEA has also said that Natanz has been affected.
Iran’s Isfahan nuclear technical center was attacked, 4 buildings have been damaged there. Fordo nuclear site is Iran’s second largest nuclear site. There has been no damage there.
Iran’s Bushehr and Arak nuclear sites are also still out of the reach of Israeli attack.
Support of G7 leaders
In fact, the Iran-Israel war has also caused devastation in Israel. But Trump’s signals and the statements of G7 leaders openly in favor of Israel have increased Iran’s crisis in the Middle East.
This has raised some questions. Like – will America jump into the war in the Middle East? Is Donald Trump reaching the ‘war room’ directly from the G7?
Picture of Iran-Israel war
Is this war between Iran and Israel going to get bigger now? Amidst the continuous attacks from both sides, can the strategy of US President Donald Trump be to directly intervene in this war in the Middle East?
Preparation for war directly from G7?
Does Donald Trump’s plan of leaving the G7 meeting in Canada midway and returning to America have a direct connection with the war?
Trump’s denial on Truth Social
Before this statement, on his Truth Social account, Trump has denied the statement of French President Emmanuel Macron, in which he said that Trump returned to America for ceasefire. According to Trump, the reason for his return to America is bigger than ceasefire.
Will not let Iran keep nuclear weapons
Donald Trump has said many times in the past that Iran cannot keep nuclear weapons. The joint statement of the leaders of the G7 countries also supports Israel and directly opposes Iran’s ability to acquire nuclear weapons.
No world war, but partition is certain?
In such a situation, can not only these two countries but also other powers be involved in the Iran-Israel fight?
ORF Vice President Harsh V Pant has said that the G7 has issued a statement, but in its statement it has mainly said that Israel has the right to defend itself. The G7 statement only talks about reducing tensions, but no roadmap has been talked about. We may not see the third world war, but we are certainly seeing countries taking sides and it looks like this war will engulf the major countries of the world.
The devastation on the fifth day of the war
This is the fifth day of the Iran-Israel war. Israeli attacks have caused great devastation in Iran’s capital Tehran.
For the second time in 5 days, Israel killed Iran’s Chief of Defense Staff. Iran’s CDS Ali Shadmani was killed in an Israeli strike. Before Shadmani, Israel had killed Ghulam Ali Rashid, the supreme commander of the Iranian army, on the first day of the war.
Heavy losses on both sides
Iran has suffered heavy losses, but Israel’s capital Tel Aviv has also been shaken by the attacks.
Rescue mission of Indians
Meanwhile, the rescue of Indians stranded in Iran is a big challenge. 110 Indians have crossed the Iranian border and reached Armenia. A large number of Indian students have reached Qom city of Iran.
Global crisis and Trump’s role
The Iran-Israel war can push the world into a new phase of unrest. It has started affecting oil prices. But at what point will this war stand in the next few days. This will be decided by Donald Trump’s next step. This is the world’s biggest security challenge after Trump became president again. This can prove to be the litmus test of Trump’s leadership.
Netanyahu-Lapid meeting
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met opposition leader Yair Lapid and briefed him on security issues.
White House statement
On the situation in Iran, the White House said, ‘President Trump has always been clear that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons’.
President Donald Trump has never compromised on his stance that Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons – a promise he has repeatedly made during his tenure and election campaign.
