Police gives clean chit to Sambhal CO Anuj Chaudhary, in the case of giving ‘controversial’ statement on Holi-Juma

Sambhal CO Anuj Chaudhary had said that Holi comes once a year, while Friday comes 52 times a year. A complaint was lodged against his statement. Now the investigation in this matter is complete and Chaudhary has got a clean chit from UP Police.

Sambhal CO Anuj Chaudhary has got a big relief in the case of giving a controversial statement on the occasion of Holi. According to the Media reports , after the police investigation, Chaudhary has been given a clean chit in the case. This has come to light in the investigation report of SP Law and Order. Actually, this year the day of Holi was the second Friday of the month of Ramzan. To avoid any kind of communal tension, the police administration had called a meeting of the peace committee before the festival.

During this meeting of the Peace Committee, Anuj Chaudhary had said that Holi comes only once a year. Friday comes 52 days. If you want to serve Sevaiya, you will have to eat Gujiya as well. People objected to his statement. The controversy grew further when retired officer Amitabh Thakur filed a complaint against Anuj Chaudhary for violating the police conduct rules. After receiving the complaint, an investigation was started against Chaudhary.

Statements of officers and many people of Sambhal district were recorded. The officials of the committee that felicitated CO Chaudhary were also called and their statements were taken. Now Chaudhary has been given a clean chit in the investigation report of SP Law and Order. It was told that no evidence was found as per the allegations of the complainant.

CM Yogi had defended
Let us tell you that the opposition party leaders had criticized Chaudhary’s statement a lot. At the same time, the state CM Yogi Adityanath had defended him in an interview. Yogi had said that whatever Chaudhary said was right. He further said that Anuj Chaudhary has been a wrestler. He is an Arjun Award winner. He is a former Olympian. If he is a wrestler, he will speak like a wrestler but this is the truth which people should accept.
