One day workshop on “Digital Governance and Emerging Technologies” organised in Raipur for Government officials of Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) Mumbai organized a one day workshop on “Digital Governance and Emerging Technologies” for Government officials of Chhattisgarh in Raipur on Monday November 25 . The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Niharika Barik IAS, Principal Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Development Commissioner, Electronics and Information Technology, Government of Chhattisgarh. Senior officials Mr. Prabhat Malik, IAS, CEO of CHIPS, Mr. Anand Mahalwar, Vice Chancellor ISBM University and Mr. Kumar Vishwaranjan, COO CHIPS, Ms. Satovisha Samajdar IFS were also present as Guests of Honour in the program.

Ms. Niharika Barik in her keynote address talked about her past experience with C-DAC. She also hoped that the workshop will benefit the Government officials of Chhattisgarh in understanding various products and its use in the digital governance domain. Mr. Prabhat Malik in his address gave a brief introduction of the work done by CHIPS as the nodal IT cell of the State Government. He also emphasized that the workshop should be mutually beneficial for both C-DAC and the departments. C-DAC should understand the requirements of the departments and suggest possible C-DAC solutions.

Dr Anand Mahalwar spoke on Data Synchronisation and Security in Health Sector based on his vast experience. As part of the workshop, speakers from C-DAC Mumbai covered various products and services in different technical domains like Blockchain, Accessibility – Standard IS 17802, Satya – Website Accessibility Testing Tool, e-Pramam – Single Sign On, e-Sammati – User Consent Management System, AnonShield – Data Anonymization, Aadhaar Ecosystem and C-DAC’s Aadhaar Data Vault, Revival – A Business Continuity Solution etc. The workshop was a huge success attended by more than 125 officials from various departments of Chhattisgarh Government. It was a very interactive and engaging workshop which provided insights into the work done by C-DAC Mumbai in the area of ​​emerging technologies and digital governance.
