Mumbai:After the one-sided victory of Mahayuti in Maharashtra, the decision on who will be the Chief Minister is expected to be taken today i.e. on Monday November 25 , 2024 . BJP and RSS are expressing their desire to see Devendra Fadnavis, the main architect of the victory of Mahayuti-NDA, as the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Amidst the political developments, BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh are expressing their desire to see BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, the main architect of the victory of Mahayuti-NDA, as the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Because under the leadership of Fadnavis, BJP has been successful in winning more than 100 seats for the third time. On the other hand, Shiv Sena President Eknath Shinde is also seen to be in the race for the post of Chief Minister. While NCP state president Sunil Tatkare has said that his party also wants their leader Ajit Pawar to become the Chief Minister. But the decision on the post of Chief Minister will be taken together by the three parties of the Mahayuti.

What did Sharad Pawar say?
Amidst all the excitement for the post of Chief Minister, when asked by journalists today morning that who can be the Chief Minister in the Mahayuti, NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) President Sharad Pawar said that BJP has so many numbers that I do not think there can be any dispute between them regarding the post of Chief Minister. I do not think anyone will become an obstacle in their path.

The way is clear for the formation of the Mahayuti government
The term of the 14th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is ending on November 26. Starting the process of government formation, Deputy Election Commissioner of the Election Commission of India, Hridesh Kumar and Chief Electoral Officer of Maharashtra S. Chokalingam met Governor CP Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan in Malabar Hill on Sunday November 24 , 2024 and presented him copies of the gazette containing the names of the elected members for the 15th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and the notification of the Election Commission of India.
