Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai took a holy bath at the Triveni Sangam of Teerthraj Prayagraj. By taking a dip of faith in the great festival of culture and spirituality of the country, he wished for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the entire state. After the bath, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai along with his wife worshiped Mother Ganga with rituals.

More than 48.29 crore devotees took a dip in Triveni Sangam till 12 noon
According to the Uttar Pradesh government, more than 48.29 crore devotees have taken a dip in Triveni Sangam till 12 noon on Thursday during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. A look at the figures till February 12 shows that the total number of devotees taking a dip in Triveni Sangam has exceeded 48.29 crores, which is an important milestone in this grand event. Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai is leading a 166-member team to attend the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj along with the Council of Ministers, Assembly Speaker, Governor, MPs and MLAs.

‘Monitoring with the help of drones’
DCP Kashi Gaurav Bansal in Varanasi said that “The effect of Maha Kumbh is coming towards Varanasi, under which lakhs of devotees are coming for darshan and bathing. Strict arrangements have been made here for that, monitoring is being done with the help of drones. Case registered in extortion case from sailors
A case was registered against eight people including a history-sheeter of Arail in Mahakumbh Nagar police station in the case of extortion from sailors who came from other districts and were operating boats in Arail Mela area. Earlier also, sailors have been beaten up for extortion.

Kalpvasis start leaving
The Kalpvasis, who have been camping on the sands of Ganga for a month, are leaving the tent city with their last bath.
