Jharkhand: Karni Sena president found dead; Police say Vinay Singh was shot in the head. A pistol has been recovered from his left hand. Vinay Singh was missing since April 19, 2025 .

Jamshedpur- Jharkhand : Jharkhand state president of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena Vinay Singh has died (Jharkhand Karni Sena chief found dead). His dead body was found near ‘Punjab Dhaba’ in Baliguma area of ​​Jamshedpur.

Police say that he was shot in the head and a pistol has been recovered from his left hand. Vinay Singh was missing since April 19, 2025 after which his family filed a missing person complaint. Later, the police traced his mobile location. His body was recovered on the evening of April 20.

Vinay Singh was returning home with some other people. Then gunmen opened fire on him near a hotel on National Highway 33. Due to which he died on the spot.

According to media input, DSP Bachan Dev Kujur said,

On the evening of 20 April, 2025 Vinay Singh’s body was found in a field near the dhaba. A country-made pistol was found in his left hand and his motorcycle was also recovered.

Reports suggest that Vinay Singh’s supporters were enraged after hearing the news of his death. They gathered late night on Sunday 20 April and blocked National Highway 33 near Dimna Chowk for 2 hours. They demanded immediate action against those responsible for the ‘murder’.

Let us tell you, this highway is the main route connecting Jamshedpur to Kolkata and Odisha. As soon as the information was received, the Rural Superintendent of Police (SP) reached the spot at around 1 am. He appealed to the protesters to help the administration.

The rural SP assured the protesters that action will be taken soon and the culprits will soon be behind bars. The blockade was lifted after his assurance. The police have started a detailed investigation and said that all possible angles are being investigated.

Let us tell you, Karni Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot dead inside his house in December 2023. Soon after the murder, Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Rohit Godara took responsibility for the crime.
