IPL 2025 Mega Auction: Today on Monday November 25 , 2024 is the second day of the mega auction of players for IPL 2025. On the first day, record bids were made on Pant, Shreyas and Venkatesh, while players like Warner and Padikkal did not find buyers. On Monday, all 10 teams are bidding for the remaining 132 places. While Lucknow placed the last bid of Rs 10.50 crore. But RCB won the bid in the end. RCB bought Bhuvneshwar for Rs 10.75 crore. RCB’s bowling unit will become very strong because of Bhuvi.
Bhuvi’s earnings doubled
It is worth mentioning that before this Bhuvneshwar Kumar was playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in every season. Last season, Hyderabad was giving him Rs 4.20 crore as salary. But now his salary has more than doubled. Bhuvneshwar will now get Rs 10.75 crore.
Deepak joined Mumbai, Akashdeep was bought by Lucknow
During the mega auction, there was a lot of bidding for some other Indian fast bowlers as well. These bowlers also included names like Tushar Deshpande, Deepak Chahar, Mukesh Kumar and Akashdeep. Chennai, Punjab and Lucknow were competing for Akashdeep. But in the end Lucknow added him to their team for a price of Rs 8 crore. There was a lot of hustle and bustle regarding Deepak Chahar as well. First Mumbai and Punjab bid for Deepak. In between, Chennai’s team also came. It seemed that they were interested in keeping this excellent bowler with them. But in the end Deepak became Mumbai’s for Rs 9.25 crore.
Mukesh hit the jackpot
Bihar’s fast bowler Mukesh Kumar was bought by Delhi Capitals for 8 crores. Mukesh Kumar has been bowling brilliantly for some time now. He got the reward for this in the auction. Mukesh’s base price was 2 crores.
