Another flight of Indian airline company IndiGo has again faced turbulence. This is the second incident in 10 days when an IndiGo flight has fallen victim to turbulence. However, this time the pilot handled the situation wisely and landed the plane safely after some time.

IndiGo flight number 6E 6313 coming from Raipur to Delhi faced a big problem on Saturday when a sudden dust storm hit as it approached the Delhi airport. Due to this bad weather and strong winds of 80 kmph, the plane had to fly back just before landing.

Weather changed before landing
This Indigo flight had departed from Raipur to Delhi on its scheduled time. But as soon as the plane was about to land at Delhi airport, the weather suddenly changed. A strong dust storm started in the capital Delhi, due to which the visibility on the runway reduced considerably. When the plane was just a few meters above the ground and was preparing to land, the pilot informed the passengers that the weather was not favorable and the wind speed had reached 80 km / h. In such a situation, he decided to fly back.

Had to circle in the air several times
After this, the pilot climbed the plane to a safe height and then circled around the airport several times so that the weather could clear a bit and the landing could be safe. During this, the passengers definitely got a little nervous, but the pilot made announcements from time to time and assured everyone that the situation was under control.

Pilot’s prudence averted mishap

After this incident, the prudence of the flight crew and the pilot is being praised because if a forced landing was attempted in such weather, a major accident could have occurred. Finally, when the weather became a little normal, the pilot landed the plane safely at Delhi airport. After the landing of the plane, the passengers heaved a sigh of relief and many passengers thanked the pilot and the airline staff.

What is go-around?

Go-around means that if even in the last moments of landing the pilot feels that the landing will not be safe, then he abandons the landing and takes the plane back up. This is a normal but very important safety procedure.
