Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has released the final selection results for the recruitment of 21 posts of Assistant Director (Planning) under the Housing and Environment Department.

This marks the first instance since the formation of the state that regular recruitment has been conducted for the posts of Assistant Director (Planning) within the Town and Country Planning Department.

Expressing his delight over this significant achievement, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary stated that this recruitment is not merely about filling vacant positions; rather, it represents a pivotal step towards the systematic, scientific, and visionary urban development of Chhattisgarh.

He emphasised that the Town and Country Planning Department plays a crucial role in planned development, the construction of modern cities, and the maintenance of environmental equilibrium.

These new appointments will provide the department with the support of young, trained, and energetic officers who will infuse new momentum into the development of the state’s cities and towns.

Minister Choudhary further remarked that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the state government is working relentlessly to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth and to integrate qualified talents into the governance and administrative machinery. This selection process stands as a testament to that very commitment, he added.

According to the results released by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission, the written examination was conducted on April 5, 2026, and the interviews were concluded on May 12, 2026. The final selection list has been issued based on the marks secured in both the written examination and the interview.

Extending his congratulations and best wishes to all the selected candidates, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary noted that they would now have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the planned and balanced development of the state.

He expressed his hope that the selected officers would make a remarkable contribution to the progress of Chhattisgarh through their knowledge, skills, and dedication, Finance Minister O P Choudhary affirmed .
