Ekatma Path illuminates with 11 thousand lamps on State Foundation Day on Friday, November 1, 2024
On the State Foundation Day, Ekatma Path was lit up with 11 thousand lamps, the Chief Minister distributed the happiness of Deepotsav by giving gifts to employees and sanitation workers
Raipur: On the occasion of 24th anniversary of Chhattisgarh state and Deepawali, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the lighting of 11,000 lamps program organised on Ekatma Path in Nava Raipur. He lit the lamps with due rituals amidst chanting of mantras. This event is a symbol of cultural heritage and unity of the state, which showcased the culture of Chhattisgarh. The light of the lamps infused new energy and enthusiasm, which will increase the pride of the state.
Besides lighting of lamps along with spectacular fireworks and colorful lights thrilled everyone present here.
On the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, MLA Purandar Mishra, Motilal Sahu, Guru Khuswant Saheb, Indra Kumar Sahu, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Secretary to Chief Minister P. Dayanand and Basav Raju S. along with many public representatives, senior officers, dignitaries were present .
Let us inform you that The state of Chhattisgarh was formed on November 1, 2000 by separating it from Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, this state reorganisation is an important milestone in the political and administrative history of India.
The main objective behind the formation of Chhattisgarh was to accelerate the pace of development in the region, recognise its distinct cultural and linguistic identity and provide better administrative facilities to the people.
Today on Friday November 1, 2024 , the state is celebrating its 24th foundation anniversary and is playing an important role in the development journey of the country with its rich culture and diversity. This day is an occasion of pride and celebration for the people of the state.
