Mahakumbh 2025: All 54 ministers were called for the UP cabinet meeting in Mahakumbh, in which important proposals and schemes for the state have been approved. After the meeting, the entire cabinet together took a dip in the confluence and worshiped the Ganga.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the Triveni complex of Mahakumbh and a special meeting was held here with cabinet ministers regarding Mahakumbh. All 54 ministers of the UP cabinet were called for this meeting, in which many proposals were discussed. After the meeting, the entire cabinet took a dip in the Sangam and worshipped the Ganga. After the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “On behalf of the entire Council of Ministers, I welcome all the saints and devotees who have come to the Mahakumbh. For the first time, the entire Council of Ministers is present in the Mahakumbh. Issues related to the development of the state were discussed.”

CM Yogi further said that all the ministers have discussed many issues, policy issues related to the development of the country were discussed. Development issues related to Prayagraj were also discussed. There was a discussion on implementing the policy related to UP’s Aerospace and Defense in a new way.
On which schemes was consensus reached?

CM Yogi said, “Letters are being issued for the investments that have been made in the state and some new investment proposals have come in UP. There is an investment of 10 thousand crores in Mirzapur. There has also been a talk about providing smartphones and tablets to the youth. There has also been a talk about the construction of new medical colleges. The Directorate of Prosecution has also been approved within the state.

He further said that there are three important municipal corporations in Prayagraj, Agra and Varanasi, their bonds will be issued. So far, bonds were issued for Lucknow and Ghaziabad, which gave good results. Prayagraj seems to be dominating the global stage. Bonds will be issued for a super specialty hospital in Prayagraj. Keeping in mind the Maha Kumbh of Prayagraj, there is a preparation to connect this entire region with a sustainable development.

Akhilesh Yadav has taunted BJP regarding the cabinet meeting in Maha Kumbh. He said, “There should be no politics in Kumbh. There should be no political program in Kumbh. The cabinet itself is political. By keeping the cabinet in Kumbh, BJP wants to give a political message. Ki people of our Samajwadi Party have a lot of faith. People of our party might have taken a dip but might not have posted the picture.
