BJP’s marathon meeting to review organisational elections and strategy for civic and panchayat elections

Raipur : In connection with the organisation festival of Bharatiya Janata Party, marathon meetings of BJP were held at the state headquarters Kushabhau Thackeray campus on Friday December 27, 2024 to review the organisation elections and discuss the strategy for urban body and three-tier panchayat elections.

First the organisation elections were reviewed. State in-charge Nitin Naveen, central organisation election observer and MP Gajendra Singh Patel, regional organisation general secretary Ajay Jamwal, BJP state president Kiran Singh Deo, state organisation general secretary Pawan Sai, organisation election state in-charge Khubchand Parikh and district election officer were present in the meeting.

In the meeting, state in-charge Naveen and state officials held bilateral meetings with the election in-charges and co-in-charges of all the districts and reviewed the elections in booths and divisions in their areas. Along with this, preliminary discussions were held on the names received for the post of district president. The final decision will be taken after discussing the panel of names of district presidents with the central election committee.

Meeting was also held regarding body-panchayat elections

Right after the organisation election review meeting, a meeting of general secretaries, division in-charges was held for urban body and three-tier panchayat elections. In this meeting state in charge Nitin Naveen, MP from Madhya Pradesh Gajendra Singh Patel, regional organisation general secretary Ajay Jamwal, BJP state president Kiran Singh Deo, state organisation general secretary Pawan Sai, Khubchand Parakh, Saurabh Singh, Bhupendra Singh Savnani, division in charge and co in charge were present. In the meeting guidance was given regarding effective victory of BJP in civic and panchayat elections, let the flag of BJP fly from panchayat to parliament, Nitin Naveen said . In the meeting general secretary organisation Pawan Sai ji, Khubchand Parakh ji, general secretary Ramu Rohra, Ramji Bharti, Bharat Lal Verma, Raipur division and panchayat election in charge Saurabh Singh, Durg division and urban civic election in charge Bhupendra Singh Savnani, division in charge, co in charge were present.

The process of appointment of district presidents is being completed with consensus: Gajendra Singh Patel

BJP’s central organization election observer and Khargone-Barwani MP Gajendra Singh Patel, while talking to journalists, expressed happiness over the systematic operation of the party’s organisation election process and said that after the appointment of booth and division presidents, now the process of appointment of district presidents is being completed with consensus. Selection will be done on the basis of caste equation, on the basis of activism of workers, on the basis of work of former office bearers and on the basis of the need of the entire district.

In the perspective of organisation election, the prominent people of the party are sitting and thinking. The decision on this will be taken on the basis of the opinion of the workers, on the basis of the organisation with everyone’s consent. . Patel said that whatever decision will be taken in the meeting, it will be sent to Delhi and the process will be completed after discussing with the central leadership. Gajendra Singh Patel said that BJP is a worker-based party and the organisation is formed on the basis of the opinion of the workers. Certainly, we have discussed on the basis of opinion of workers in all the districts of Chhattisgarh. During this, Chhattisgarh State Organisation Election Incharge Khubchand Parikh was also present.
