According to sources, 16 ministers each from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Janata Dal (United)—constituents of the ruling alliance—took the oath. A total of 32 MLAs, drawn from the quotas of the BJP, JD(U), LJP(R), and HAM—the parties comprising the NDA government—were informed today that they would be sworn in as ministers.
