Bijapur-CG: Just before the three-tier panchayat elections, a major encounter took place between the police and the Naxalites in the National Park area of ​​Bijapur. The police security force has killed 12 Naxalites on the Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border. It is said that more than 12 Naxalites have been killed in this encounter. Two soldiers have sacrificed their lives and two soldiers have also been injured. MI-17 helicopter has been dispatched from Jagdalpur to evacuate the injured soldiers. IGP Sundar Raj of Bastar division has confirmed the encounter. The number of Naxalites killed may also increase.
