Senior journalist and prime-time anchor Rubika Liyaquat has moved on from Times Now Navbharat, with sources telling Prime Look that she has put in her papers after a little over three months with the network. Her next professional move is not known yet.

Liyaquat’s move to Times Now Navbharat had followed her departure from News18 India, where she worked as Consulting Editor and Prime-Time Anchor. She left News18 India in May 2026 and joined Times Network the following month.

With close to two decades in television journalism, Liyaquat has become one of the more recognisable faces of Hindi television news. Her career has included broadcast journalism, political reporting, prime-time anchoring and senior editorial responsibilities.

She has worked with several prominent news organisations during her career, including ABP News, Zee News, News24, Bharat24, Live India and News18 India. Before joining News18 India, she was associated with Bharat24, while her earlier stint with ABP News lasted more than five years before she moved on in 2023

Her latest departure is notable particularly because of the short duration of her Times Now Navbharat assignment. However, there is no confirmed information at present linking the decision to ratings, editorial differences, management issues or any other specific reason.
