The result of the IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals will be decided through the super over. After the end of 20 overs, the score between Delhi and Rajasthan was tied, after which it was decided to decide the match through a super over. Delhi had scored 188 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. Rajasthan team looked in good position due to half-centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Rana, but the team could only score 188 runs for four wickets in the stipulated overs. No batsman could play a big innings for Delhi, but they performed well in pieces, due to which the team was able to score 188 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. Porel scored the highest 49 runs for Delhi, while KL Rahul contributed 38 runs.
Batting first, Jack Fraser McGurk and Porel gave the team a good start, but Jofra Archer dismissed McGurk for nine runs. Soon after this Karun Nair was run out without opening the account. This was the fourth time in the IPL that Karun returned to the pavilion on zero. After two setbacks, Rahul formed a partnership with Porel and both of them shared 63 runs for the third wicket. Archer once again proved to be important for Rajasthan and he ended this partnership by dismissing KL Rahul.
After Rahul’s dismissal, Porel also lost his wicket in the next over and missed out on scoring a half-century. Then captain Axar Patel came to the crease and he batted aggressively. Akshar was dismissed after scoring 34 runs off 14 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes. In the last overs, Tristan Stubbs and Ashutosh batted brilliantly, which took the team’s score beyond 180.
