Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. He has reached Chhatarpur, where he offered prayers at the Bageshwar Dham Balaji Temple. PM Modi laid the foundation stone of the Balaji Sarkar Cancer Institute to be built here and addressed a public meeting.
PM started his address with Jai Jatashankar Dham. PM said that in a very short time I have got the privilege of coming to this land of heroes Bundelkhand for the second time. This time Balaji has called me. It is the grace of Hanumanji that the center of faith is now going to become a center of health.
There is a class of leaders who make fun of religion. They are engaged in dividing people and many times foreign powers try to weaken the country and religion by supporting these people, these people have been living in some disguise or the other for centuries with Hindu faith.
With the mentality of slavery, these people have been attacking our temples, our saints, culture and principles. These people abuse our festivals, traditions. They throw mud on religion and culture which are progressive by nature. Dividing our society, breaking it is their agenda. In this environment, my younger brother Dhirendra Shastri has been working to make people aware about the mantra of unity for a long time. Now he has taken another pledge in the interest of society and humanity. He has resolved to build this cancer hospital.
On one hand our temples have been the centre of worship and on the other hand they have also been the centre of social consciousness. Our sages gave us the science of Ayurveda and Yoga, whose flag is flying high all over the world today. Our belief is that there is no religion greater than helping others. Nowadays we are seeing that Maha Kumbh is being discussed everywhere. Maha Kumbh is now nearing completion. So far crores of people have reached there. Crores of people have taken a dip of faith.
Congratulations to Bundelkhand for the hospital
The centre of faith is going to become the centre of health. The foundation stone of Bageshwar Dham Medical Science Centre has been laid here. It will be built on 10 acres here. In the first phase, a facility of 100 beds will be ready. I congratulate Dhirendra Shastri for this work. I congratulate the people of Bundelkhand.
Relief of others’ suffering is Dharma
Service to others, relief of others’ suffering is Dharma. Therefore, serving every living being with the feeling that there is Narayan in man and Shiva in living being, this has been our tradition. We are seeing it these days.
Cancer medicines will be made cheaper
Modi has decided that cancer medicines will be made cheaper. In the next three years, cancer day-care centres will be opened in every district of the country. There will be testing as well as rest facilities here. Cancer clinics will also be opened in the district hospitals and medical centres in your neighbourhood.
Caution is important
Correct information about cancer is also very important. This is not a contagious disease. The risk of cancer increases due to bidi, cigarette, gutkha and tobacco. Therefore, you have to stay away from all these cancer-causing addictions and keep others away too. I hope that if we are careful, we will not become a burden on this hospital of Bageshwar Dham, that is, we will not need to come here.
Modi is your servant
Friends, Modi is engaged in serving you by becoming your servant. The last time I came to Chhatarpur, I inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of schemes worth thousands of crores. You will remember that among these was the Ken-Betwa Link Project worth Rs 45 thousand crores. This project was stuck for who knows how long. Who knows how many governments came and went, but this project remained pending. This work was completed when you blessed Modi.

His guru Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj is also arriving to participate in the foundation stone laying program of Balaji Cancer Institute and Research Center. Rambhadracharya Maharaj has left for Bageshwar Dham from Khajuraho Airport.

People are also reaching Bageshwar Dham from other states. Everyone is happy about the cancer hospital. Food arrangements have been made near the venue for the people coming here. Preparations to welcome the people coming to Bageshwar Dham are going on since morning.
Temporary mini hospital built
A temporary mini hospital of 20 beds has been built by the district administration in Bageshwar Dham. It has 20 beds. There is also a temporary ICU. Here two groups of 15 doctors each will be deployed in two shifts.

For the first time, there will be overnight stay in Bhopal
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of the Cancer Hospital at Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur today. After this, tomorrow i.e. on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal. After the Bhoomi Pujan program, the Prime Minister will reach Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Center directly. The SPG team has taken the Prime Minister’s program venue Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium, Human Museum located in Shyamala Hills, President Suite of Raj Bhavan, the night rest place, under its security cover. SPG officers are also deployed at the State Hangar. At the same time, due to security, a helipad has also been built at the Lal Parade Ground near the Thackeray Auditorium.

There is a great news for cancer patients of Bundelkhand. A state-of-the-art cancer hospital will be constructed at a cost of Rs 200 crore. This hospital will be set up in a vast area of 25 acres and will start with a provision of 100 beds. This hospital will be constructed in four phases, so that it can be developed in a phased manner.
Collaboration of Medanta Group and Bageshwar Dham Jan Seva Samiti
This hospital will be operated with the joint efforts of Medanta Group and Bageshwar Dham Jan Seva Samiti. In future, it will also be developed as a medical college, which will not only provide treatment facilities but will also open new opportunities for medical education.
Big relief to poor patients
This hospital will be especially beneficial for the patients of 17 districts of Bundelkhand. Now they will not need to wander in metros for treatment. This will make it easier for cancer patients to get timely treatment and the worry of spending lakhs of rupees will also be reduced. This initiative will not only expand medical facilities, but will also provide relief to patients and their families suffering from serious diseases like cancer.
