The SIT, which came to investigate the Ram temple offering controversy, left for Lucknow after six days of investigation. The team can submit the report to the CM. Closed secrets may be revealed soon.
SIT has left for Lucknow after six days of investigation into the offerings controversy at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. According to sources, the SIT may submit the preliminary report to the Chief Minister on Monday.
The team interrogated the people under suspicion before leaving. From Ram Mandir to the employees of the three banks, the enumeration personnel were interrogated. A link was added to all these. The blame may fall on many officials. Action may be taken against many people.
Mahant Shashikant presented his side at Ram Janmabhoomi office
Amidst the ongoing allegations and counter-allegations regarding Ram temple donation box and alleged financial irregularities, Mahant of Ram Kachari Charon Dham temple and president of Saryu Nitya Aarti Shashikant Das has put forward his side. He completely distanced himself from the allegations made by Engineer Dinanath Verma and said that he had only provided his building free of cost to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for running the camp office.
Mahant Shashikant Das told that on the request of the then District Magistrate Anuj Jha, Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and other officials, he had given his newly constructed building located in the Ram Kachari Charon Dham temple complex to the Trust. In return he never charged any rent or fee. He said the camp office was later shifted to Ram Niwas, after which the trust stopped using the premises. Mahant clarified that he neither knows Dinanath Verma nor has ever met him. He has no knowledge of the construction works or the allegations of alleged commission embezzlement.

Amidst the discussions on controversies related to Shri Ram Temple, another new allegation has now come to light. Retired engineer Dinanath Verma, who was involved in monitoring the construction work of Ram temple, has made serious allegations against Dr. Anil Mishra, senior trustee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, in an interview broadcast on social media. Earlier, Tinnu Yadav had also raised questions on the key officials of the trust.
Dinanath Verma claimed that during the construction of an office attached to the Ram temple complex, a 40 per cent commission was allegedly demanded from a contractor of aluminum works. They allege that for the same purpose the bill for the work was also prepared by increasing it by 40 percent.
