Naming Ceremony Held at the Home of Seema Haider (from Pakistan); Son Named ‘Bharat,’ Advocate AP Singh Becomes His ‘Maternal Uncle’

Seema Haider, who resides in Rabupura, Greater Noida, held a naming ceremony for her son and named him ‘Bharat.’ The ceremony, held in Greater Noida, was attended by family members, villagers, and her lawyer, A.K. Singh. Seema stated that she is proud to have embraced the Hindu faith and wishes to remain in India.
Rudrapura -Noida ( Uttarpradseh) :Seema Haider, a Pakistani national currently residing in Greater Noida, is once again in the spotlight. She recently organized a naming ceremony for her son—her sixth child—and bestowed upon him the name ‘Bharat.’ The event took place in the Rabupura area of Greater Noida, where a large gathering of family members and local villagers was present. The ceremony has become a major topic of discussion following the release of photographs and statements regarding the event.
Speaking to the media on the occasion of the naming ceremony, Seema Haider remarked that she finds the Hindu faith to be incredibly beautiful and is overjoyed to have embraced it. She reiterated her sentiment that she finds Hinduism to be a beautiful religion and is very happy to be a follower. She further expressed her pride in the fact that she is now a Hindu. Seema explained that during the Namkaran Sanskar (naming ritual), the priest suggested the letter ‘Bha’ as the initial for the child’s name; after deliberation, the family decided to name their son ‘Bharat.’
She asserted that there could be no name more beautiful than ‘Bharat,’ as it represents the very identity of the nation, and she takes immense pride in the name. Seema also mentioned that she thoroughly enjoys watching India win cricket matches, and whenever India plays a match, she offers prayers to God for the country’s victory.
Reiterating Her Desire to Stay in India
Seema Haider unequivocally stated that she wishes to remain in India and has no desire to return to Pakistan. She noted that she has received an abundance of love in India and that the local people have warmly embraced her. According to her, she feels happy living here and harbors absolutely no regrets regarding her decision.
Seema’s lawyer—whom she also regards as a brother—A.K. Singh, was also present at the naming ceremony. Stepping into the role of the children’s maternal uncle, he ensured that all the rituals were duly completed.
During the event, many villagers also attended the ceremony and bestowed their blessings upon the parents and the child.
Concerns Regarding the Children’s Future
Following the ceremony, Seema Haider stated that she is concerned about her children’s future. She mentioned that she does not wish to have any more children and, for the time being, intends to focus her attention on their education and upbringing.
Held in Rabupura, this naming ceremony concluded with great fanfare; the presence of both family members and local residents made the occasion truly special. The event has now become a subject of widespread discussion, particularly due to the decision to name their son ‘Bharat’.
Seema and Sachin’s First Child Was Born in March 2025
It is worth noting that in March 2025, Seema Haider became a mother to a child with Sachin for the first time. While this marked Seema’s fifth child overall, it was her first child with Sachin Meena. Just a few days after the birth on March 28, 2025, Seema and Sachin revealed their daughter’s name through a video message. In the video, Seema shared that her daughter was born at 3:55 AM and that she had named her ‘Meera’—inspired by Mirabai, a figure renowned for her devotion to Lord Krishna. Now, Seema Haider has named her son (her sixth child) ‘Bharat’.
