*Horticulture and Agriculture Departments Jointly Receive First Prize

*Award Presented at the 13th National Review Conference in Bengaluru

Raipur: Chhattisgarh has been declared the best state in the country for the excellent implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme) and the Reorganised Weather-Based Crop Insurance Scheme.

The Horticulture and Agriculture Departments were jointly awarded the first prize.

The Chief Minister and the Agriculture Minister congratulated the department officials on this achievement of the Chhattisgarh government. This award is a significant achievement for the state’s farmers and reflects the success of the state government’s agricultural policies.

The award was presented at the 13th National Review Conference held in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on January 18-19, 2026. Neeraj Shaha, the Joint Director in charge of the Horticulture Department, received the award.
