Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the closing ceremony of the three-day Saint Guru Ghasidas Silver Jubilee celebrations held at Guru Ghasidas Gyan Sthal, Pushpavatika, Sarangarh, as the chief guest.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai performed the ritualistic worship at the Jaitkham installed at the Gyan Sthal and prayed for peace, prosperity, and well-being for the state.

Addressing the ceremony, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that the most revered Baba Guru Ghasidas was a guide not only for one community but for entire humanity. His immortal message of “Manke-Manke Ek Saman” lays a strong foundation for social equality, human dignity, and brotherhood.

He said that at a time when society was gripped by untouchability, discrimination, and stereotypes, Baba Guru Ghasidas gave a new direction to society by spreading the bold message of truth, non-violence, and equality.

Chief Minister Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government, inspired by the thoughts of Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba, is committed to bringing development and justice to every person in society. He stated that most of the guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been implemented in the last two years.

Chief Minister Sai affirmed that the purchase of paddy at the support price is among the top priorities of the government. He said that in the last two years, both the area under paddy cultivation and the number of farmers in the state have increased, which is a testament to the growing confidence of farmers in the government’s policies in the agricultural sector.

The government is fully committed to purchasing paddy from every eligible farmer. He added that through the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, approximately 70 lakh women in the state are benefiting, strengthening women’s economic self-reliance.

Chief Minister Sai said that complete transparency is being ensured in the PSC recruitment process, ensuring that youth receive opportunities based on merit. Through the new industrial policy, entrepreneurship opportunities are being provided to sons and daughters from every section of society. This policy not only promotes employment generation but also strengthens social justice.

The Chief Minister called upon all sections of society to participate in the creation of a developed Chhattisgarh by embracing the ideals of Saint Guru Ghasidas Baba.

On this occasion, Scheduled Caste Development Minister Guru Khuswant Saheb stated that the idea of ​​”Manke-Manke Ek Saman” is the unshakable foundation of social harmony, equality, and brotherhood. He stated that Baba Guru Ghasidas’s birth anniversary is celebrated with reverence and respect throughout the world.

He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the development of the Scheduled Caste community has gained new momentum in the last two years. As part of the comprehensive development of Girodpuri Dham, several important works have been completed, including the Jaitkham, the temple complex, Amrit Kund, and the road to Chhata Pahad, stairs, and lighting.

He informed that, keeping in mind the convenience of devotees, ₹3 crore has been approved for the construction of a shed from the main entrance to the temple, and ₹2 crore for other development works. Additionally, ₹17 crore 11 lakh 22 thousand has been approved for the development of Bhandarpuri Dham, with which infrastructure work will commence soon.

To uplift the Scheduled Caste community in the field of education, a decision has also been made to provide assistance of ₹15 lakh each to five talented youth each year for pilot training.
