Raipur: In a solemn and deeply symbolic gesture on Constitution Day, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai offered floral tributes at the statue of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at Ambedkar Chowk in the state capital, Raipur on Wednesday November 26, 2025 . Reflecting on Dr. Ambedkar’s towering legacy, Chief Minister Sai described him as not only the Chief Architect of the Indian Constitution but also as an enduring pillar of equality, justice, and social harmony whose ideals continue to guide the nation’s democratic journey.
On this occasion, MLAs Rajesh Munat and Purandar Mishra, Mayor Meenal Chaubey, along with several public representatives, officials, and a large number of citizens assembled to honour Dr. Ambedkar’s unparalleled contribution.
They reaffirmed their commitment to the Constitution and the values it enshrines.
In his address, Chief Minister Sai said that the Constitution forms the foundation of India’s unity, integrity, and democratic ethos. He highlighted that Dr. Ambedkar’s profound scholarship and visionary approach were instrumental in shaping a Constitution that not only safeguards the rights of every citizen but also reminds us of our duties towards the nation.
The gathering collectively pledged to uphold India’s timeless tradition of unity in diversity and to imbibe constitutional values in everyday life, thereby strengthening the spirit of democracy and social harmony.
