Raipur: Life is incomplete without education. Education is not just a means to obtain a job, but the path to lead a successful life. Education is the fundamental principle of social development. Whether it is the art of living, business, agriculture, or any other field—education plays a vital role in success in every field.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said these words while addressing the oath-taking ceremony and Diwali Milan Samaroh of the Chhattisgarh State Manikpuri Panika Samaj held at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital, Raipur on Sunday October 26, 2025 .

Chief Minister Sai administered the oath to all the newly elected office bearers and extended his congratulations and best wishes. He stated that the state government has been continuously working in the field of education since its inception. While there was only one medical college at the time of the state’s formation, today there are approximately 15 medical colleges operating in the state.

Similarly, prestigious national and international educational institutions—such as IIT, Triple-IT, IIM, Law University, AIIMS, and CIPET—have been established in Chhattisgarh, providing both education and opportunities to local students.

Chief Minister Sai further stated that today, society needs to be organised one which can strengthen a nation. He noted that our community has made incomparable contributions to the fields of art and literature since ancient times. During the world-famous Bastar Dussehra festival, the girl on whom the Mother Goddess incarnates during the Kachandevi ritual also belongs to the Panika community—this is certainly a matter of pride for the entire community.

Chief Minister Sai stated that the illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s motto is: “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.” Under his guidance, our government has been working tirelessly for the welfare of all sections of society for the past 22 months. We have taken steps like the Krishak Unnati Yojana for the benefit of farmers, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for providing permanent houses, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana for empowering mothers and sisters, and the Teacher Rationalisation to address the shortage of teachers in schools in remote areas, CM added.

On this occasion, the Chairman of Chhattisgarh Mati Kala Board, Shambhu Nath Chakraborty, also addressed the program and congratulated all the newly elected office bearers.

The program was also got attended by Bharat Das Manikpuri, President of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Manikpuri Panika Samaj, along with office bearers of the society, public representatives and a large number of dignitaries.
