32-year-old deceased Revathi’s husband Mogadampalli Bhaskar shared that his 9-year-old son Sritej had seen the film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ in the year 2021 and since then he became a big fan of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun. Sritej insisted on watching ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ in front of the family, to fulfill which Revathi and Bhaskar took him to the premiere show. Sritej also became a victim of the stampede and is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Revathi was ready to do anything for the family
Expressing grief over Revathi’s untimely demise, husband Mogadampalli Bhaskar said, ‘She gave me life and now she is gone.’ In fact, Revathi donated a part of her liver to her husband in 2023 when he needed a liver transplant. Bhaskar further shared that both his children Sritej and Saanvi were pressuring him to take them to the show of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. To fulfill the insistence of the children, Revathi and Bhaskar took them to Arjun Sandhya theatre for a special screening. When the stampede happened, Revathi was with Sritej and both got stuck in the crowd. Bhaskar had already left with Saanvi as the child started crying amid the jostling of fans desperate to catch a glimpse of the film star. Bhaskar broke down recalling the incident and said, ‘I decided to drop Saanvi to her in-laws’ place in the lane next to the theatre. By the time I returned, my wife and son were not where I had left them. When I called, Revathi said they were inside the theatre. That was the last time I heard her voice.’
