Raipur: The Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday July 27, 2025 attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected state office bearers of the Satnami society organised at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium located at the Medical College in the capital Raipur.

While congratulating and wishing all the newly elected office bearers, he said that education is the key to the development of society. We all have to work together for the all-round development of the society.
Chief Minister Sai said that during the tenure of former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, a Jaitkham higher than the Qutub Minar was built in Girodpuri Dham, along with many development works were also completed. This has not only increased the pride of the community , but the Satnami community has also got global recognition.
He said that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a resolution has been taken to make India a developed nation by the year 2047. Accordingly, our government has also resolved to establish Chhattisgarh as a developed state by the year 2047. We have full faith that with the blessings of Baba Guru Ghasidas ji, this resolution will definitely be fulfilled.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai announced Rs 1 crore for the construction of a multipurpose building of the Satnami community in the capital Raipur. Apart from this, an approval of Rs 50 lakh was also given for the completion of the remaining incomplete work of Madwa Mahal located in Girodpuri. He also announced to give incentive amount of five thousand rupees to the talented students being honored in the function.
On this occasion, students of class 10th and 12th who performed well were felicitated.
While congratulating the newly elected office bearers of the Satnami Samaj, Vidhan Sabha Speaker and former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said that when the office bearers of the community work with commitment, loyalty and honesty, the credibility of the community increases and proceed towards in the direction of progress with harmony. He said that working with team spirit strengthens creative efforts.
He also congratulated the newly elected President L.L. Kosle for the initiative of building a grand Dharamshala at Girodpuri Dham.
Dr. Raman Singh said that with the blessings of Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji, he got the opportunity to discharge various responsibilities like MLA, MP, Minister, Chief Minister and now Vidhan Sabha Speaker in these 40 years of public life. Baba Ji’s message of “Manke-Manke Ek Barabar”, white flag and white clothes make the state a symbol of peace.
The cultural expression of Panthi dance is also working to establish the peace and harmony of Chhattisgarh in the world. He expressed confidence that with the participation of all and the blessings of Baba Ji, Chhattisgarh will become the most developed state of the country in the coming years .
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, while congratulating and wishing the newly elected office bearers, said that social unity and education are two important bases for the progress of the society. He said that children should be encouraged for education and talented students should be honored every year. He expressed the expectation that the Satnami community will reach new heights of progress in the coming years.
Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, while congratulating the newly elected office bearers of the Satnami community, said that these office bearers have a big responsibility to empower the community . He stressed the need to further empower the community in the field of education. He also called upon the society to come forward in the direction of industry, trade and self-employment. Minister Baghel informed that a national seminar will be organised after ‘Guru Darshan’ at Girodpuri Dham in the presence of spiritual gurus of Satnami community from all over the country, in which participation of all the community members is expected.
The program was also addressed by MP Kamlesh Jangde, MLA Punnulal Mohle, Guru Khuswant Saheb, newly elected state president of Progressive Satnami community L.L. Kosle.
MLAs Domanlal Korsewada, Uttari Jangde, Sheshraj Harvansh, Kavita Pran Lahare, Kamlesh Das from Uttar Pradesh, Madan Satnami from Assam, Shyam Das from Bihar, Suraj Bharti from Odisha, President of Marwar Satnami Samaj Mahendra Satnami from Rajasthan, Kishan Banjare from Madhya Pradesh and Dr. Jagjivan Khare from Delhi, along with many senior officials and spiritual gurus of Satnami community were present in this oath taking ceremony.
Besides, representatives of various social organisations, including Pradesh Sahu Samaj, Yadav Samaj, Kurmi Samaj, Sarva Adivasi Samaj also participated in the function.
