Rahul Gandhi’s mic was switched off during a Congress event, he was addressing a programme on Constitution Day
New Delhi–Constitution Day Program : Rahul Gandhi said that when we talk about Dalits, our mike is switched off. If you switch off my mike, I will still speak and complete my point. He was addressing a program organised by Congress at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi on the 75th anniversary of Constitution Day, but during his address, Rahul Gandhi’s mike switched off in the middle. When the mike started again after being switched off for a long time, he said that switch off the mike as much as you want, I will still complete my point.
Regarding the mike being switched off, Gandhi said that when we talk about Dalits, the mike is switched off, even if my mike is switched off, I will speak and will keep my point. On Constitution Day, the Leader of Opposition said that the Constitution shows the path of non-violence, the Constitution is the holy book of truth and non-violence, the Constitution does not allow violence. Gandhi again talked about caste census and said that wherever our government comes, we will conduct caste census there. If the share of backward classes is more, why is their participation less.
He further said that you will not find Dalit or OBC owners of your companies. I guarantee that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not read the Constitution book. The thinking of India for thousands of years and the truth of social empowerment of India in the 21st century, Ambedkar ji, Phule ji, Lord Buddha, Gandhi ji are included in it. You go to any state, Narayan Guru ji in Kerala, Basavanna ji in Karnataka, Shivaji Maharaj ji of Pune, in every state you will find two-three names whose thinking you will find in this book.
