Raipur: The holy land of Chhattisgarh is not only the birthplace of Mother Kaushalya but also the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram – this is a matter of great fortune and pride for us. Lord Shri Ram spent most of his fourteen years of exile on this sacred land of Chhattisgarh, illuminating this land with the divinity of devotion, sacrifice, and dignity. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said thison Tuesday October 7, 2025 while addressing a condolence meeting held at Maa Kaushalya Dham, Jamdi Pateshwar Ashram, located in Bade Jungera village of Doondilohara development block in Balod district.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited the samadhi sites of Saint Shri Ramakrishnadas Mahatyagi and Saint Shri Ramjankidas Mahatyagi and paid his respects. Paying tribute to the contributions of both saints to the nation, society, and spirituality, he said that the land of Chhattisgarh is still illuminated by their sacrifice, penance, and service.

Chief Minister Sai said that Babaji was a brilliant seeker and a symbol of sacrifice, service, and spirituality. He dedicated his entire life to public welfare and service to humanity.

He said that the inspiration of such saints is the soul of our society and the foundation of the state’s cultural glory.

Chief Minister Sai said that this divine shrine, taking shape in the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram, will become a symbol of Chhattisgarh’s faith, culture, and pride. He met with Saint Balak Das Mahatyagi and received detailed information about the progress of the construction work.

Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, MP Bhojraj Nag, MLA Purandar Mishra, along with numerous public representatives and a large number of devotees were present on the occasion.
