The Chief Minister listened to the 127th edition of “Mann Ki Baat” in Shanti Nagar, Raipur, today on Sunday October 26, 2025.

Chief Minister Sai, while extending his greetings for the Chhath festival, said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is a special platform that connects innovative, inspiring, and public-friendly initiatives across the country, giving national recognition to efforts that bring positive change in society. He said that Chhattisgarh’s mention in the program is a matter of pride for every citizen.
Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the unique initiative of the Ambikapur Municipal Corporation, ‘Garbage Cafe,’ which has set an example towards a plastic-free city. Here, food is provided to those who donate plastic waste—this initiative has become a wonderful example of cleanliness, recycling, and social sensitivity. Ambikapur has launched a unique initiative to clean up plastic waste from the city. Garbage Cafes are being run in Ambikapur.
These cafes provide a full meal for those who bring plastic waste. Those who bring one kilogram of plastic receive lunch or dinner, and those who bring half a kilogram receive breakfast. These cafes are run by the Ambikapur Municipal Corporation.
Chief Minister Sai said that the Prime Minister mentioned the increased enthusiasm of festivals, the Chhath festival, a symbol of social unity, and the spirit of India moving forward with renewed confidence. This proves that Indian breed dogs are more adaptable, efficient, and reliable.
