The train running from Raipur to Nava Raipur will be trialed today

Raipur: There will be a trial run of the train between Raipur to Nava Raipur via Abhanpur today. Passengers are going to get this facility after a long wait. According to railway sources, the first train will run on Wednesday November 13 , 2024 . Supervisors of all departments of the railway will be present in the train.

According to railway officials, the train will leave Raipur, reach Mandir Hasaud and from there go to Abhanpur via CBD. The train will return to Raipur after some time from Abhanpur. During the trial, a team of officials will assess the flaws in the track. If the trial is successful, soon the announcement of running MEMU train between Raipur Naya Raipur and Abhanpur will be made. Railway officials have started its preparation. There is a plan to run MEMU train from Raipur to Abhanpur. In this, one train will run in the morning and one in the evening.

Stations have been established at six places. These include Udyog Nagar CBD station in Raipur, Mandir Hasaud Nava Raipur, Kendi, Abhanpur station.
