Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said, “As far as the issue of tariff is concerned, a statement has been issued by the government. As far as the White House’s statement is concerned, it would be better if it is asked from the White House.”
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal spoke on several issues including America in the weekly press conference. On the announcement of sanctions by the US on Indian companies doing business with Iran, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “We have taken note of the sanctions and we are considering it.”
Randhir Jaiswal said, “As far as the tariff is concerned, a statement has been issued by the government on this. As far as the White House statement is concerned, it would be better if it is asked from the White House.”

The MEA spokesperson said, “This partnership has faced many changes and challenges. We are focused on the concrete agenda to which both our countries are committed and we are confident that this relationship will continue in the future.”

On US President Donald Trump’s statement that India may one day buy oil from Pakistan, he said, “I have no comment on this matter.
