cording to initial information, the stampede occurred when a high voltage line wire broke and fell on the temple road. A large number of devotees had reached the temple for darshan. The situation went out of control due to the sudden panic caused by the wire breaking.

SSP Pramod Singh Dobal said that a total of 35 devotees injured in the accident have been brought to the district hospital, in which six devotees have died in the stampede while others are injured. Of which the patients in critical condition are being referred to higher centers.
