School admission festival will start from June 16 in Chhattisgarh… CM Vishnu Deo Sai

*State government’s new initiative towards making education a public campaign

Raipur: The new education session is going to start in Chhattisgarh from Monday June 16, 2025 .In this regard , Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has written a letter to all the public representatives of the state and appealed for active participation in the “Shala Pravesh Utsav” (School Admission Festival) . This event is being organised with the aim of strengthening the field of education in the state and ensuring 100 percent enrollment of children in schools.

The Chief Minister has written in his letter that the goal of making the state 100 percent literate is certainly challenging, but it is not impossible. He said that to make the “impossible possible”, every section of the society will have to put forward meaningful efforts together. For the success of the event , first of all it is necessary that no child is deprived of school and all children are admitted on time.

Chief Minister Sai also mentioned that the Right to Education Act is in force in the state, and under the National Education Policy 2020, it has been ensured that the school dropout rate is gradually reduced to zero by class 12th. For this, all stakeholders have the responsibility to identify and remove educational barriers.

Mukhyamantri Shiksha Quality Campaign( Chief Minister Quality Education Campaign): A concrete initiative

Chief Minister Sai informed that the State Government is launching the “Mukhyamantri Shiksha Quality Campaign”, ( Chief Minister Quality Education Campaign) which aims to improve the educational quality in government schools. Besides the government has rationalised teachers and schools and posted teachers on priority in teacherless and single teacher schools, so that the right to education can reach every child.

Infrastructure development is the priority of the government

The Chief Minister also clarified that the government has kept the development of infrastructure and basic facilities of the school education sector in the state as its top priorities. He urged the public representatives to personally participate in their respective areas during the Shala Pravesh Utsav and ensure that no child remains out of school.

Future improving with social participation

The Chief Minister said, “We have built it, we will improve it” To realise the vision, we all have to do result-oriented work together. He expressed hope that all the public representatives will lead this campaign and discharge social responsibilities and play an important role in making Chhattisgarh an educated, empowered and self-reliant state.

The letter of the Chief Minister is being seen as the beginning of a mass movement regarding education in the state. The initiative will not only increase the access of children to school, but will also give a new direction to the quality of education and social participation. It is expected from this effort of the state government that Chhattisgarh will set a new example in the field of education and social and economic empowerment will gain momentum through education.
