Raipur: The Rajim Kumbh Mela 2026, held on the sacred land of Prayag Rajim in Chhattisgarh, witnessed a remarkable confluence of faith, culture, and spirituality. At the cultural evening held on the sacred banks of the Triveni Sangam, renowned artist Arun Govil, known for his portrayal of Lord Shri Ram, delivered a soulful performance of “Suno Shri Ram Kahani,” filling the entire venue with a divine atmosphere of devotion and reverence.
On this occasion, Arun Govil had a heartfelt meeting with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and praised the grand celebration and excellent arrangements for the Rajim Kumbh Mela. Chief Minister Sai honored him with a memento. Govil said that Chhattisgarh’s cultural heritage, public faith, and the people’s affection were an unforgettable experience for him.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the Rajim Kumbh Mela is not merely a religious event, but a vibrant celebration of our eternal tradition, cultural heritage, and spiritual consciousness. He stated that the state government is continuously committed to the preservation and promotion of faith, culture, and tourism, and that through such events, Chhattisgarh’s identity is being further strengthened at the national level.
The event was attended by the presence of Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Culture and Tourism Minister Rajesh Agrawal, Mahasamund MP Roopkumari Chaudhary, Rajim MLA Rohit Sahu, along with numerous public representatives, saints, and devotees.
It is noteworthy that through the Rajim Kumbh Mela 2026, Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural identity, religious tourism, and spiritual heritage are gaining new recognition at the national level. This festival, organised by the state government, is emerging as a powerful medium for the promotion of faith, culture, and tourism.
