21 Naxalites in Kanker district have surrendered, abandoning the path of violence

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has said that the end of Maoism in Chhattisgarh is now becoming a reality. People-oriented initiatives like “Puna Margem – Rehabilitation through Resettlement” have brought a new wave of peace and trust to Bastar.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai that today 21 Naxalites in Kanker district have abandoned the path of violence and surrendered, which is a strong avidence of the success of the “Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy – ​​2025” and the “Niyad Nella Naar Scheme” being implemented in the state.

The Chief Minister said that youth misled by the false and misleading ideology of Maoism are now realising that the path of development, not guns, is the right choice for the future. The government is fully committed to the rehabilitation, retraining, and social reintegration of these surrendered Naxalites, so that they can join the mainstream and live a respectable life in society.

The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Chhattisgarh government has won the trust of the people of Bastar. This is why Maoist organisations are rapidly weakening, and a large number of them are abandoning the path of violence and embracing peace.

The Chief Minister said that Naxalism has now been broken in the Bastar region, and the region is rapidly moving towards peace, development, and empowerment. He said that the goal of the double-engine government is to make India Naxal-free by March 31, 2026, and Chhattisgarh is rapidly progressing in this direction, CM Sai affirmed .
