Promotion of 1227 lecturers in School Education Department, more than 7000 promotion orders issued so far

Raipur, 23 July 2025/ On the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, quick decisions are being taken by the State Government for continuous improvement in the education sector and in the interest of the teacher community. In this sequence, promotion orders have been issued to 1227 Lecturer (T Cadre) teachers of various subjects by the School Education Department today on 23 July 2025.

These lecturers will be posted through counseling. These subjects include core subjects like Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Political Science, History, Geography, Economics and Commerce. This decision reflects the commitment of the government, under which timely promotion and opportunity is being provided to the teachers of the state on the basis of their work, seniority and merit.

It is noteworthy that in the last one year, the School Education Department has completed the process of promotion to about 7000 posts at the district and division level. Along with this, direct recruitment of 2621 Assistant Teachers (Science Laboratory) was done through counseling, so that experimental education can be further strengthened in schools.

Earlier, on 30 April 2025, promotion orders of about 2900 principals have also been issued. In the coming days, the posting of promoted T cadre principals will also be done through counseling, so that proper arrangement can be ensured on the basis of transparency and place-requirement.

The case of E cadre principals is pending in the Hon’ble Court. Necessary action will be taken in a timely manner as per the decision of the Hon’ble Court.
