Prime Minister Narendra Modi Announces Visit to Chhattisgarh for Silver Jubilee Celebrations; Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Welcomes Him with Warm Message on Social Media

Raipur : On the eve of Chhattisgarh’s Rajat Jayanti (Silver Jubilee), Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday October 31, 2025 announced on the social media platform X that he will visit the State on November 1, 2025, to participate in a series of historic events in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. The visit marks 25 years of Chhattisgarh’s formation – a milestone in its journey of growth and transformation.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will attend the Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee Celebrations and inaugurate or lay the foundation stones for several development projects in roads, industry, healthcare, and energy sectors.
Posting on X, the Prime Minister wrote, “Chhattisgarh, rich in tribal culture and natural resources, completes 25 years of its developmental journey on November 1. I will be participating in several programmes in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar from morning onwards. Around 2:30 PM, I will take part in the Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav, where I will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for multiple projects related to roads, industries, health, and energy sectors. I will also have the privilege of inaugurating the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial and Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar.”
The Prime Minister further mentioned that he would meet approximately 2,500 children who have been cured of congenital heart diseases at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Child Heart Hospital, and will also inaugurate the Brahma Kumaris “Shanti Shikhar” Bhawan, a spiritual and meditation center. In addition, he will inaugurate the new building of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and unveil the statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the site.
Chief Minister’s Message of Enthusiasm and Gratitude
Expressing his heartfelt joy, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai also took to X, stating, “The arrival of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji at the Silver Jubilee celebrations will be a moment of inspiration and new energy for all of us. This occasion is not only a celebration of Chhattisgarh’s glorious 25-year journey but also a defining moment that will accelerate our resolve toward Viksit Chhattisgarh 2047.”
Chief Minister Sai added that the Prime Minister’s visit represents “a symbol of pride and confidence for the entire State.” He wrote that Chhattisgarh, with “full enthusiasm and joy, stands ready to welcome the Hon’ble Prime Minister.” Under Modi’s leadership, he said, “India is scripting new definitions of self-confidence, self-reliance, and development.”
The Chief Minister noted that this visit would also mark “the beginning of a new era in the State’s legislative journey.”
Chief Minister Shri Sai emphasized the spiritual connection between the Prime Minister’s leadership and the State’s cultural heritage, “Under the inspirational guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the maternal land of Lord Ram — Chhattisgarh — is today emerging as a symbol of innovation, good governance, and prosperity.”
He expressed confidence that the Prime Minister’s visit would become “a historic milestone in the State’s developmental journey, inspiring renewed confidence, patriotism, and a spirit of participatory growth among the people.”
As Chhattisgarh prepares to welcome the Prime Minister on this momentous occasion, the State’s Silver Jubilee celebrations promise to blend pride in its heritage with hope for a radiant and resilient future.
