Raipur: Under the Chhattisgarh State’s on going Silver Jubilee celebration, the Education and Journalism Department of Pragati College organised a street play and carried out a rally at Pt. Girija Shankar Mishra Government Pre. Secondary School Raipura, Raipur on Wednesday September 10, 2025.

In the street play, the students of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. second year highlighted the 25 years of Chhattisgarh’s development journey through various public welfare schemes of the Chhattisgarh government in the last 25 years through streel plays and slogans .

These development schemes included Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, PM Road Scheme, Benefits of Ayushman Card, Mahtari Vandana Yojana, Mahtari Express, Crop Insurance Scheme, Mid Day Meal and Saraswati Cycle Schemes etc.

The names of the students who presented the schemes through drama are Priya Jha and Group, Deepak and Group, Sajna Verma, Ainuka Dhruv.

Earlier, the Principal of the school, Ashok Singh Parihar, presented the development journey of Chhattisgarh, highliting the development of the state.

Madhav Rao Sapre Raipura Ward Councilor Mahendra Ausar in his speech spoke about the development since the formation of Chhattisgarh state and congratulated everyone on the silver jubilee of Chhattisgarh state.

Besides the students of the education and journalism department organised a rally, in which the development plans of the state were presented to the people through posters and placards. Various development plans were conveyed to the people through slogans.

This program was organised under the guidance of the Head of the Department of Education Dr. KN Gajpal . Dr. Gajpal in his welcome address , congratulated everyone for the silver jubilee year of Chhattisgarh state and explained the welfare schemes of Chhattisgarh state in detail and motivated the people to make Chhattisgarh state more strong as ever .

The vote of thanks for the program was given by the Head of the Department of Mass Communication, Dr. Praveen Kumar Yadav.

All the professors of the Education Department and the students of B.Ed., D.El.Ed. and BAMC were present in this program.
