Raipur : As per the instructions of Chhattisgarh Government, various programs are being organised in Pragati College , Choubey Colony , Raipur to celebrate the State’s Silver Jubilee year marking 25 years since its formation

The year 2025-26 is a historic occasion for our state. On this auspicious occasion, under the on going Silver jublee year celebrations , Debate , Group Discussion and Quiz competitions were held with full enthusiasm in the Science , Commerce & management Departments of the college, in which the students participated enthusiastically and the contribution of the teachers was seen with full vigor.

The students who came first, second and third in the group discussion , quiz competition, and debates etc. were bestowed with certificates and medals by Principal Dr. Soumya Nayyar and Head of the Departments of Commerce & Management, and Computer Science Dr. Ramakrishna Rao and Manu Ravani Sir respectively .

At the end of the program, the Principal of the college, Dr. Soumya Nayyar highlighting the achievements and development journey of Chhattisgarh state said that Chhattisgarh was created as a separate state to ensure that the benefits of development reached its people. Our governments boath Union and State are taking development initiatives to every village in Chhattisgarh, Principal added.
